Exchange 2010 Rollup 1
Exchange 2010 is niet zo heel lang geleden uitgekomen. Nu heeft Microsoft al haar eerste rollup update voor Exchange 2010 vrijgegeven.
Lijst met fixen:
– Exchange Server 2010 users cannot open certain attachments when they access their mailboxes by using Outlook Web App
– Meeting requests that are sent to a room mailbox are not processed in Exchange Server 2010
– Exchange RPC Client Access service crashes in the Handler.dll that is located on an Exchange 2010 Client Access service server
– Exchange RPC Client Access service crashes in Parser.dll on the Exchange Server 2010 CAS server
– The subject or body of a message that is hosted in an Exchange Server 2010 mailbox is not set as expected
– The message body is inaccessible when the property conversion from PR_BODY_HTML to PR_BODY fails
– The body text of an e-mail message is invisible after you create exceptions for a recurring appointment or for a recurring meeting by using a CDO application together with Exchange Server 2010
– An E_FAIL error occurs when you create an exception to a meeting request by using a CDO application for a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 mailbox

Exfolders Public Folder Management Tool voor Exchange 2010 & Exchange 2007
Exchange Management Team heeft de opvolger van PFDADMIN genaamd ExFolder beschikbaar gesteld. Exfolders werkt alleen voor Exchange 2007 & Exchange 2010.
Met dit programma kun je rechten beheren op Public Folders. Downloaden doe je HIER.
Het programma heeft wel een paar installatie eisen.
– Het werkt alleen vanaf een Exchange 2010 server met de Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology service. Vanaf een client met alleen de Client Management Tools van Exchange 2010 wordt momenteel nog niet ondersteund.
– ExFolders.exe moet geplaatst worden in de Exchange \bin folder anders werkt het niet.
– Build is niet gesigneerd dus met importeren van bijgeleverde reg file is dat ook opgelost.

Open de MDT Deployment Share Properties
In de twee tabs Windows PE x86 Settings & Windows PE x64 Settings vind de instellingen.
Bijvoorbeeld: Windows PE x86 Settings
Onder Windows PE Customizations vind je Custom Background Bitmap file:
Deze verwijst standaard naar: %installdir%\Samples\Background.bmp
Eigenlijke map is: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Deployment Toolkit\Samples
Her noem het de huidige Background.bmp naar Background Oud.bmp
Plaats in de zelfde map nu de nieuwe achtergrond met de naam Background.bmp
Je moet nu nog Update Deployment Share doen en zorg er voor dat regenerate boot image aanvinken.
Voeg als laatste de twee wim files opnieuw toe aan WDS en als je alles goed hebt gedaan heb je nu een custom achtergrond tijdens deployen in je achtergrond n.
